OUR JOURNEY
FORT Engineering was founded in 2013 by Eng. Vladimir Pop-Grivase and Eng. Ovidiu Tarța, led by the motivation to continually develop their passion for engineering and machines.
We started our activity with design and conversion services. Due to the market demands and opportunities, we grew our team and expanded our expertise in the mechanical processing and assembly sector.
Over time, we owe our growth and success to our team and our partners.
Our current capabilities include: design and consultancy in the design of new products, mechanical machining (turning, milling, drilling, grinding), welding, powder coating, assembly, testing, installation and commissioning.
As a result, the main projects we are conducting for our partners transfer us responsibility for the entire processes. This refers to the full coordination of the production and assembly processes, including adjustments and test of endurance, from simple to the most complex products and equipment.
LOCATIONS
FORT Engineering has branches in the Netherlands and in Romania. The manufacturing takes place in our specialized factory located in Cluj-Napoca – known as “the heart of Transylvania”.
Cluj-Napoca is the second largest city in Romania, after Bucharest, the Capital, with a strong history in research in all fields of engineering and software. There are direct roads and flight connections to major cities in Europe. Our factory is located 4 km from “Avram Iancu” International Airport Cluj and 165 km from the Western border.
